I first met Cameron about 15 years ago when he stepped into a vital role in helping to coordinate youth and other volunteers in the annual Community Cleanup. His work was always conscientious and comprehensive, and I knew that I could count on Cameron to meet and most often exceed the requirements of the challenges we faced.

Cameron has approached his Council role with the same energy and enthusiasm I saw during his time with the Community Cleanup. His commitment, coupled with his personal qualities of integrity, optimism and compassion, make Cameron an excellent Brockville City Councillor. I have personally witnessed his ability to engage the youth in our beautiful city and this is very much needed for our future growth as a community.

I have had the pleasure of both teaching Cameron and working as his teacher advisor on various theatre projects over the years. Throughout high school, he was committed to social justice issues and dedicated to the arts. It is wonderful to see him carry his devotion to building a better community into his post-secondary studies and now into municipal politics.

Cameron is a great listener and seeks to create an inclusive and prosperous community. I am confident that he will continue to be a compassionate, thoughtful, and hard-working council member.
